In my position as a technical processing assistant at the DeWitt Community Library, I catalog a lot of new picture books. Unfortunately, I cannot review them all, but I do read them all and have assigned a 🙂 to my favorites. Below are a few I’ve cataloged recently. (Whenever possible, summaries have been taken directly from the books.)

Great selection of books, Lauri! When I was at ALA, I had a chance to finally meet Marsha Goldman and Lola. Lola handled the crowds like a pro. She signed autographs, posed for pics, and gave lots of kisses to her fans.

Aw, I love Lola! She reminds me of my little dog. Unfortunately, my dog is a bit too rambunctious to be a therapy dog, though I would love to do something like that. So great that you got to meet members of your Creston Books family!
