Transcription Rates

Rates are charged Per Audio Minute and are based on Speaker Level (number of speakers in the audio or video file), Requested Turnaround Time for the completed transcript, and the addition of Time Coding (if applicable). Keep in mind that the length of the file may influence turnaround time.

We reserve the right to decline a job for any reason, including, but not limited to, excessively poor audio or video quality or offensive subject matter.

Note: Audio minutes are rounded up to the next minute.

Full payment is required at the start of the job for first-time clients.

Business hours are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

What does Aquarius Transcription Services do?

We provide high-quality audio or video transcription to businesses and individuals. In other words, we take your digital audio or video file and transcribe the spoken words into printed text and email the completed document back to you. We’re a US-based company that transcribes spoken English into English text. We work diligently to deliver a clean, accurate transcript to each of our clients in the form of a Microsoft Word document. We primarily use the standard verbatim method of transcribing, meaning we omit all instances of uh, um, stuttering, repeated words, and false starts. All other words are transcribed as spoken. The result is a clean transcript that’s a pleasure to read.

How would our service benefit you or your business?

All sorts of people use transcriptionists: businesses and organizations, doctors, lawyers, nonprofits, academics and students, authors, podcasters, bloggers, online learning platforms, personal development coaches, and more. A written transcript provides a permanent, searchable record of your audio or video content. It makes quoting or sharing of your content simpler. How should you submit your digital audio/video file to Aquarius Transcription Services for transcribing?

The first step is to message us using our Contact form to provide us with details about your project. Please include the following:

Type of file (audio or video)
Length of file
Number of speakers
Requested turnaround time
Brief description of the content of your file

We will respond via email within 24-48 hours with a price quote. If accepted, we will email you an invoice prior to beginning the job if you are a first-time client. Once payment has been made, you should email us your digital audio or video file right away using Google Drive.

When will you receive your completed transcript?

Your completed transcript will be emailed to you on the requested and agreed-upon date based on a 24-hour system. For example, if you requested a 3-day turnaround time and submit your file to us at 2 p.m. on a Monday, you’ll receive your completed transcript by 2 p.m. on the following Thursday. Business hours are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

How should you submit payment for services?

Full payment is required at the start of the job for first-time clients. An invoice will be emailed to you. We accept payment via PayPal.

Do we have any special offers?

Yes! For a limited time only, first-time clients get the first two minutes of their audio or video file transcribed for free! (File must be five minutes or longer.)
